Delete your Dimeleaf account

Option 1: in the app (fastest)

1. Open Dimeleaf and sign in.
2. Open Settings: tap the gear icon at the top right of Home, or go to Family → Profile, security & account.
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
4. For each space you own that has other members, choose an adult member to become the new owner. If only children or viewers are left, change one of them to Adult or remove them first.
5. Confirm. Your account is deleted immediately.

Option 2: without the app

Send an email to [email protected] from the email address you use to sign in, with the subject "Delete my account". We may reply to confirm it is really you. We complete the deletion within 3 × 24 hours of confirmation, and never later than 30 days.

What is deleted

• Your account and sign-in details (email, name, sign-in method) and profile photo.
• Every space you own alone, with all of its wallets, transactions, budgets, goals, bills, debts, shopping lists, comments and receipt photos.
• Your private wallets in shared spaces, with their transactions.
• Your comments, reactions and spending requests in shared spaces.
• Your notification settings, device push tokens and invite code, and your subscription status in Dimeleaf.
• Your connection to Sign in with Apple (if used) and your record at our subscription provider.

What is kept, and for how long

• Shared spaces that continue with other members: transactions and other records you added stay in that space for its members, no longer linked to your account.
• Technical notification keys (no content) expire within 400 days. Server logs and backups are overwritten on a rolling basis.
• Purchase records kept by Apple or Google, and any records we must keep by law (for example tax), for as long as the law requires.
